Antigua, a vibrant Guatemalan town, founded in 1543 is nestled amid three volcanoes. It is a designated World Heritage Site with beautiful old structures and colorful pastel facades lining the cobble stoned streets.
Antigua is well known for it's Spanish Schools and many foreigners come here to experience them.
I rose before sunrise on one of the days we were there and walked around the sleeping town, silently watching it awaken as the rays of the morning sun emerged and cast a warm glow on it. I really enjoyed taking pics here before the streets came alive with the hustle and bustle of what was once the capital of Guatemala.
