Galapagos

Our first sight arriving in Galapagos sailing off San Christobel
Galapagos' lunar landscape is a dramatic backdrop when first sailing in between the islands.  The ocean here is clear and teeming with sea life.  The people are friendly and helpful.  We got diesel and fresh produce, no problem, found some internet and enjoyed walking around the sandy streets in the Village on Isla Isabelle.  We are off to visit the tortoise sanctuary (tortoises a couple of hundred years old) now, so will have to include those pics in my next post!

The kids playing with the seals, tickling their tummies as they swim by.  The animals in Galapagos have no fear of man, seals, penguins, turtles, birds, iguana's all allowed us to come up really close, swim with them and touch them.

Galapagos was a refreshing stop, we sail today for the Marquesas, French Polynesia.  We will be at sea for about 3 weeks and not sure when I will have internet again, probably only in Tahiti, so till then….
