Provisioning in Panama

Anchored off Panama City
Panama City is our last major stop before the south Pacific so here we provisioned T R I B E for the months ahead at sea.  Most of what one needs, one can get here.  Pricesmart is great for bulk shopping and the fruit and veg market for all that fresh produce.

Rourke on the steps using the pulley system to pull Skyla and Layla across in the tiny row boat used as the 'ferry' from the dingy/tender dock to shore in Las Brisas, Panama City.  This anchorage was particularly dirty and we could wait to get out of here.  Def no swimming or even water making.
The Public Transport in Panama.  Fondly known as 'the Red Devils" , old condemned American school busses that have been "suped up"
Mallory, Charly, Sky, Rourke, Layla and Yann heading into town for some shopping!

Chris and Brent waiting for the women to stop with the fruit and veg already!

our happy Taxi driver, slowed down to whistle
and hoot at every skirt we drove past,
otherwise it was break neck speed all the way!
here we are with some of our stash, Brent, Anna and Chris waiting for Rourke
Loading up, Chris and Rourke, a couple of trips were necessary
trying to find place to put all this stuff

filling up with diesel, and petrol for the tender
Leaving Panama City and sailing to Las Perlas Archipelago
