Waterfall Finca El Paraiso, Guatemala

Skyla and her aunty Nix

This mornings outing to Agua Calientes (Hot Waterfall) in the lush Guatemala jungle, was preceded by a ride in a 12 seater 'chicken' bus...  only there were 27 of us in it, on it and hanging on the side of it!

On our way to the chicken bus.
Sascha, Craig, Ellie, Storm, Layla, Rourke and Nix

and outside the bus

hitched a ride with a farmer the rest of the way, through the forest,
then a short walk to the falls

This waterfall tumbles down from the hot springs above.  It really is too hot to stand under.
Of course jumping the cliff was all part of the plan, Rourke was the first to fly and the rest followed suit.

Rourke dived two rings out of the pool below the waterfall

It costs 5 quetzales (R5 or less than a dollar) to have your boots shined in Fronturas, the village on the Rio
