Life on the Rio Dulce

Mayan fishermen using a throw net.
We have been up the Rio now for about a month and a half enjoying the change in scenery.  T R I B E will stay here for the next 2 months while we head home to Cape Town, South Africa for a visit to friends and family before we head further south, through the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean.

As many of you know, it is Hurricane season here in the Caribbean so we have some time to kill, perfect opportunity to go home!  I will be posting a bit about Cape Town, known fondly as the Mother City of a Rainbow Nation!
