T R I B E has the Navy stack pack, next to the yellow one. This is the Marina we will be at for Hurricane Season
The Atlantic Hurricane season begins the 1 June and ends 30 November with these lows developing off the West African Coast, moving across the Atlantic, developing into tropical storms and hurricanes that hit the Caribbean and the United States. We are tucked away in Central America some 30 miles up the Rio Dulce, a safe hurricane hole.
The Marina pool is a life saver in this tropical heat, temperatures average between 30 to 40 degrees celsius here every day.
Local fishermen, amazing how they balance in their narrow kayukas (name given to boats Indians/Mayans carve out of trees)
