Chub Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas

Anchored here for a few days, we decided to take advantage of the beach and Resort facilities.

We relaxed on the beach, built sandcastles and had some fun in the pool.

Rourke asked if he could change his classroom environment to the pool bar on the beach, amazingly he worked faster, probably eager to swim with the sand in his toes.

Maybe there is something to be said about environments conducive to learning!

While we were lounging on the deck chairs, Rourke thought we needed some refreshments.  He climbed the palm trees to pick some coconuts and cut open them to produce a deliciously refreshing coconut milk, aaah the joys of having an 11 year old boy!
