Black Point, Great Guana Cay

Just that tail fed 2 of us!

Cruising the Bahamas, some of the most beautiful sailing there is.  We never get tired of looking and looking at the sea, it's a magnetic blue attraction.  The snorkeling… rays, turtles, sharks, lobster, puffer fish, fish of of every color and size, we can't get enough.  It sure is a great place to start a voyage like this, quite inspiring.  We have been gunkholing around the Bahamas for a month now and are only halfway.  Time to get moving as we are meeting up with my brother and his little family aboard their catamaran SY SAFARI in the Dominican Republic.  We are so looking forward to sailing together through Cuba, Central America and the Pacific.

Motoring in to the busy anchorage at Black Point
At present we are anchored off Black Point in Great Guana Cay, a busy anchorage with about 30 to 40 boats. Internet yeah!
Things are not cheap in the Bahamas, just paid 10 US dollars (80 SA rands) for 5 tomatoes, bread is 6 US dollars (48 Rand) a loaf!
