| Chris leveling the radar |
In the early hours of the morning, I was awoken by a bump to the yacht. I role over and ask Chris if he heard 'that Bump?' Before I finished my sentence he was in midair and in that running position, you know the one, Road Runner Pose. As it happens, our anchor dragged and we hit one of the docks on the far side of the creek. All hands on deck, the kids were out with fenders (it was still dark outside) and I started bringing up the anchor while Chris got the engines running (team work at its best). We re anchored and checked for damage, there was none, luckily. We are slightly baffled as to how it happened as there was no wind AND we have an anchor (an 88 pound/40kg Rocna) that can hold the mothership. There is quite a strong current here, but really?
Moving on… after a restless rest of the night, Rourke made us Cinnamon and hot buttered toast with Strawberry Tea for breakfast, in bed! All is well that ends well…
Oh yes, we had haircutting day on the boat today, spot the difference...
