T R I B E (our Leopard 47 catamaran) has undergone an extensive refit and is chomping at the bit to run with the white horses. The kids have chosen their cabins, got their home schooling down and are keen on meeting up with some friends in the Caribbean. We have stocked up on all we can think of, from food to fishing, buoys to toys, spares to deck chairs. Departing from the USA has its advantages, everything is available here. First leg: hopping down the U.S. East Coast from Beaufort, North Carolina to Florida, then over to the Bahamas for a couple of weeks...
